Includes very atmospheric footage of Penrhyn & Dinorwic quarries with shots of the Hardy Tractor & Maid Marian handover with a 1967 quarry special, The Coalition at Llechwedd, a BR outing on the Welshpool, a ride across Raven Square and through the Narrows, the Torrington & Marland Light Railway, the Colne Valley Water Railway, Bowaters and more.

Also featured is a section of film by Norman Pearce of ex Corris Railway locomotive No 4 on the Talyllyn Railway filmed in 1951.
